Business Unit Director (m/f)
Position Summary
We are looking for a Business Unit Director to lead our Municipality Water division. The role will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing the assigned team across back-office and front-office functions, ensuring operational performance, and achieving the Business Unit’s budget and P&L targets.
Key Responsibilities
» Drive sales growth and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
» Lead, supervise, and coordinate the Business Unit team.
» Identify operational gaps, business needs, and improvement opportunities, implementing appropriate solutions.
» Develop and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers and business partners.
» Ensure the efficiency, competitiveness, and profitability of the product and service portfolio.
» Promote smooth coordination and collaboration across departments.
» Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and performance targets.
» Lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a results-oriented culture.
Skills & Competencies
» University degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field.
» More than 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the water, engineering, or industrial sectors.
» Strong commercial mindset combined with solid operational understanding.
» Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
» Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages will be considered an advantage.
